This summer I had the chance to take part in an incredible program – the Austria to Austin entrepreneurship summer school, hosted by the Texan non-profit 3 Day Startup. This three-week program (which was fully funded by the US embassy btw) had around 20 Austrian students embark on a journey to Texas, to learn all about entrepreneurship.

Big city life

During my time in the US in 2016 (see my post Navajo Nation), I made a lot of friends from China, all of whom live in the city of Hangzhou. They were in the same program back then, so we spent a lot of time together and became fast friends. I promised I was going to come and visit them. Now was the time to do so.

Right after finishing my project semester, I went to London for three days, to visit a friend and also finally see the city myself. I know that three days is by far not enough for a city with this much history, but that’s just all the time I had.
